We had a great time here and would highly recommend it to others. the property is set on a beautiful location, allowing for great views and a feel of isolation at night, very relaxing. the cabin was well equipped and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us to live comfortably for the two days. We also enjoyed the option to use a small summerhouse, which had a DVD player and a great selection of movies.
That the decking was a little slippy during the winter season. this was not a big issue for most people and could easily be avoided by wearing grippier shoes.

The lodge was well decorated with Christmas lights, creating a cozy atmosphere. the owners provided fresh milk, tea, coffee, and delicious shortbread upon arrival, which was a welcoming touch. the location felt rural and peaceful, with only the sound of owls at night. the lodge had excellent WiFi, which was important for us as we needed good broadband for our stay.
The town itself was slightly underwhelming, lacking in attractions or activities. It may be more suitable for a quiet getaway for families or older individuals.
